Collection phase
The UNA has collected nature-based solutions in several phases:
  • As part of the Naturvation H2020 project, 1000 projects were included from 100 European cities (2017-2021);
  • A collection of 120 climate-focused global cases was funded by the British Academy (BA) in preparation for the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference COP26 (2021);
  • An extension of 100 Asian projects was supported by the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) to increase ASEAN member states’ capacity to implement nature-based solutions (2022).
