The project is a part of a larger initiative to revitalize this neglected district of the city and involves redevelopment and expansion of rain drainage system in Gdynia Chylonia. It resulted in the construction of rainwater retention systems and rainwater sewage systems with safe rainwater discharge to the Chylonka River. The aim of the wider initiative is to ensure a more decent standard of living and social cohesion by revitalizing the neglected areas of Gdynia [1,2,4].

1) Improving the aesthetics of the district;
2) Improving the standard and comfort of living of the inhabitants [2];
3) By revitalizing the neglected areas of Gdynia, ensuring a more equal standard of living and level of development to other districts in Gdynia and leading to the gradual changes in the value systems of the inhabitants [4].
Implementation activities
1) Construction of 1298 m and redevelopment of 1138 m of rainwater sewage systems with safe rainwater discharge to the Chylonka River [2];
2) Renovation of roads, expansion of rain drainage network and construction of the rainwater retention system [1].
